Cryptonym: AMCLATTER-8

Definition:
Unknown identity. AMCLATTER-8 told AMCLATTER-4 (Pedro Fernandez) in June 1960 that he had learned that police in Havana were probably investigating the activities of William Pawley of Miami.
Status:
Unknown
Discussion:
AMCLATTER-8 had apparently learned this through an informant in the Prime Minister's office. Also, in a cable in August of 1960, AMCLATTER-8 informed Havana Station that June Cobb was under investigation by G-2 for being a suspected U.S. agent.

Claim is that 40 peso telephone call of Cobb paid for by American Emb, and that Cobb received a check from American Narcotics Bureau.
