Unknown identity. AMCASH was mentioned in a memo on AMMUG-1 (Vladimir Lahera Rodriguez) in May of 1964 by CIA Counterintelligence (CI) officer, Harold F. Swenson.

The memo stated that AMCASH and a withheld individual had been exposed to an apartment at (REDACTION) Blvd., Alexandria, Virginia. AMCASH was in New York at the time that the memo was written. Also mentioned were Dolf Luim with AMDIXIE-1 (was AMDIXIE-1 a Cuban connected to the South of the U.S.?), AMTOUT (probably Mario Lazo y Guiral), Lou De Santi with AMNIP-1 (Miguel Roche Monroy) and Dr. Winston. In addition, a memo for the record from withheld, WH/C/FI, in April, 1965, stated that "because of the interest in the 'coincidental' trip to Havana of both UNSNAFU/19 (Cuban Ambassador to Paris, Antonio Maria Carrillo Carreras) and AMCASH/3 shortly after having received the 'planted' information of the MHSPAWN (cable indicator for covert action propaganda) operation, we queried AMWHIP/1 (Carlos Tepedino Gonzalez) regarding U/19's trip." Were AMCASH and AMCASH-3 persons linked to banking/business/accountancy, etc?

The apartment at (REDACTION) Blvd., Alexandria, Virginia was rejected because it has been exposed to the following CIA staffers and agent assets: a. Mr. Dolf Luim with AMDIXIE-1 a Cuban who is the (REDACTION) and lives in (REDACTION). b. Mr. (REDACTION) with AMTOUT (probably Mario Lazo y Guiral) a principal agent in New York. c. (REDACTION) with AMCASH who is in New York. d. Lou De Santi with AMNIP-1 (Miguel Roche Monroy) and Dr. Winston. 2. Due to the foregoing we find it necessary to request that another apartment be secured for AMMUG-1 (Vladimir Lahera Rodriguez)."
