Cryptonym: AMBARB-90
A memo from Bill Harvey on October 18, 1962, during the Cuban Missile Crisis, stated that AMBARB-90, AMBARB-70 (Martin Morua Arrechea), and ten others were awaiting assignment.
In April of 1963 AMBARB-90's operational clearance was cancelled, along with numerous others.
A dispatch in 1964 mentioned "a press bulletin issued by the Honduran government in November 1963. This bulletin was issued as a result of AMBARB-90's efforts and is proof that AMBARB-90 was actively engaged in work for (the DRE) at that time."
A cable from JMWAVE on December 3, 1963, stated that the station had "discussed case AMBARB-90 with (DRE) HQS which categorically refused (to) recall him to WAVE area. (DRE) position is that A-90 is free agent who no longer paid by either (CIA) or (DRE). A-90 is supporting self with part time job and help from parents. In near future will marry and establish self permanently (in) San Pedro de Zula with wife and in-laws."
A DRE document stated that Julio Benitez Bellido was the delegate to Honduras (date unknown).
