A cable from Rio de Janeiro on October 26, 1962, stated that the "Brazilian Ministry of Justice announced that AMTOAD-1 (Julian Arias Prado, when he moved to Brazil, he used the name Angel Aparicio Laurencio), AMBARB-32 and Nelida Garmendia would be given fifteen days leave Brazil because of their attacks on government policy and Prime Minister Hermes Lima personally."

A cable on October 30, 1962, stated that if the subjects were unable to get the deportation called off, they would leave by November 10, 1962. The cable also stated that it "would be better have AMBARB-32 (IDEN C) go anywhere but U.S. directly. After couple days third country can apply for U.S. visa."

Another cable on the same day stated that IDEN C was Carlos Valdesuso Rodriguez, DRE in Brazil.
