The memo also noted that "Figolak (note: aka "Horace Goelet") asked AMBALD-1 if AMBALD-2 or (Carlos) Franqui had told him the names of any of those on Raul's list for execution if Fidel were to be assassinated. AMBALD-1 said that they had mentioned Efigenio Ameijeiras, Faure Chomon, and Rolando Cubela as listed."

A cable on March 16, 1965, stated that AMBALD-2 told AMBALD-1 that Raul Castro hated AMLASH-1 (Rolando Cubela Secades) and the feeling was mutual.

UNSNAFU-9 states AMLASH-1 and AMBALD-2 not close but that AMBALD-2 likes AMLASH-1 very much. "

A cable on March 23, 1965, on the dismissal of UNSNAFU-9 by UNSNAFU-19 (Antonio Maria Carrillo Carreras), stated "UNSNAFU-9 hoping to get further information on what action UNSNAFU-19 is taking via UNSNAFU-13 (Emilia Trasancos, wife of Luis Enrique Trasancos) and UNSNAFU-14 (Juan David Posada) and possibly AMBALD-2."
