Cryptonym: AMANTHEM

Definition:
Possibly Mario del Ferrer, the number two man after Tony Varona in the Rescate organization, also known as RDR (Rescate Democratico Revolucionario).
Status:
Speculative
Discussion:
A cable in June of 1960 stated that AMANTHEM introduced Edward D. Knapman to Cubana Captain Eduardo Ferrer, the former FAR Inspector General. The cable also mentioned "no relation" next to Eduardo Ferrer's name. As this usually refers to surnames, was AMANTHEM's surname Ferrer as well? The only other person mentioned was Edward D. Knapman, a pseudonym used by CIA officer Warren Frank. It is also possible that AMANTHEM was Eduardo Ferrer himself.
