British journalist Anthony Summers is the author of several books about American in the 1960s and 1970s, including biographies of J. Edgar Hoover and Richard Nixon. His books include the classic Conspiracy (reissued as Not in Your Lifetime) and Official and Confidential: The Secret Life of J. Edgar Hoover.
