Welcome to Unredacted, the MFF's interview show featuring authors and experts on the Kennedy assassination and related topics. This episode features an interview with Washington Post Online writer Jefferson Morley and David Talbot. The interview discusses Talbot and Morley's investigation of a November 2006 BBC Newnight story, which had alleged that three CIA officers were shown in photos and film footage taken at the Ambassador Hotel on the night Robert Kennedy was killed. The three officers identified in the BBC story were David Morales, George Joannides, and Gordon Campbell. Morley and Talbot investigated this story, interviewing many family members and associates of these three men, and concluded that the identifications were mistaken. |

About Jefferson Morley
Jefferson Morley is a writer for Washington Post Online, and author of a forthcoming biography of Win Scott, the CIA station chief in Mexico City at the time of the Oswald visit there prior to the Kennedy assassination. He is also the plaintiff in a lawsuit against the CIA, demanding the release of records pertaining to CIA officer George Joannides, whose role as liaison to the 1970s House Committee is questionable given what has been revealed about his role with a Cuban exile group that had dealings with Lee Harvey Oswald in 1963.
About David Talbot
David Talbot, hailed as a "pioneer of online journalism" by The New York Times, is the founder and former editor-in-chief of Salon. He has worked as a senior editor for Mother Jones magazine and as a features editor for the San Francisco Examiner. Talbot has written for The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and other publications. He lives with his family in San Francisco. He is the author of the 2007 book Brothers: The Hidden History of the Kennedy Years, published by Free Press.
