Chapter 1: The Double Dangle of Bill Simpich's new book State Secret: Wiretapping in Mexico City, Double Agents, and the Framing of Lee Oswald is now available for reading online here at MFF. Chapter 1 follows the story of defectors Lee Oswald and Robert Webster, calling attention to the ways in which their stories dovetail and even how their descriptions were intemingled in CIA files as part of a "marked card" operation.

State Secret is being serialized a chapter at a time, with a new chapter appearing approximately weekly. Over the coming several weeks, the full book will become available online.
