John Newman is the author of 1992 book JFK and Vietnam, one of the first to argues that Kennedy intended to withdraw from Vietnam, an idea which later documentary releases support. He also wrote Oswald and the CIA, and was a consultant to Oliver Stone's JFK. Essays by Newman include Mexico City: A New Analysis
