Warren Commission Document Photos: Harper Fragment

These are photographs of a piece of President Kennedy's skull known as the "Harper fragment," named after its discoverer, Billy Harper, who found it in the grass in Dealey Plaza on the afternoon of 23 Nov 1963. The photographs were taken at Methodist Hospital on 25 Nov 1963, under the supervision of Dr. Jack Harper and Dr. Cairnes. The photos are included in Commission Document 1269, which includes some of the history of the fragment and the very late notification of its existence to the Warren Commission in July 1964.
