Peter Dale Scott has written or co-written over ten books. Those related to the JFK assassination include Deep Politics and the Death of JFK, Deep Politics II, Crime and Cover-Up, and The Assassinations: Dallas and Beyond. He is an expert on Kennedy's foreign policy and was the first to argue that Kennedy's Vietnam withdrawal plan was quietly scuttled during the early days of the Johnson administration. He has coined the term "deep politics" to describe "political practices and arrangements, deliberate or not, which are usually repressed rather than acknowledged."
