Prominent Mexican Marxist "planned to go to Cuba first week in December." Would meet with Enrique Gonzalez Pedrero and Francisco Lopez Camara. Communist professor at National Autonomous University of Mexico. Leader of CMP (Mexican Peace Committee), MLN (Mational Liberation Movement) and CEM (Circle of Mexican Studies). Tamayo's son studied in Warsaw and travelled to USSR and Communist China. Tamayo was a prominent Marxist intellectual.
