Comments:		 Chicago lawyer. Alleged master-mind behind Castle Bank (Bahamas) money laundering operations. One of his clients was former Sen. Geo. Smathers. March 4, 1976, a federal grand jury in Reno returned indictments against Kanter and three associates in a Castle-related case. In 1981, Kanter is silent partner behind Cablevision systems of New York City.
