Sabot & Smoke

Comment on Site Section: Ballistics Evidence
In my extensive reading so far, the use of a sabot would have allowed the bullets, especially CE399, to be fired through the Mannlicher\Carcano prior to the assassination, then reloaded into a higher-calibre rifle used to shoot JFK. Has anyone come across, in their research, any expert in ballistics stating that use of such a sabot would result in an extraordinary amount of smoke from the muzzle? I'm no expert, but it seems to me that the smaller calibre projectile would allow air & smoke to escape from the muzzle, versus a normal calibre projectile for that particular rifle. If so, this would help to explain the multiple eyewitness testimonies that stated that they saw and smelled smoke and\or gunpowder.
Autopsy Photo Forgery

Comment on Site Section: Autopsy Photos and X-Rays
I understand that the autopsy photos are a fairly complex issue. One simple way of determining evidence of forgery is to examine the eyes. I have read several statements that JFK's eyes at Parkland were divergent --- they were skewed in different directions. In the autopsy photos where the eyes are visible, they are convergent. So I asked a medical doctor if the eyes will become convergent on their own after massive head trauma resulting in death. His answer was that the eyes will remain divergent and will not converge on their own. If JFK's eyes were divergent at Parkland, then why are they convergent in the autopsy images?
